Lighthouse Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, highly motivated leader to fill the position of Assistant General Manager for recently opened The Well House Hamilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel.
Primary Purpose
To assist the Managing Director in effectively overseeing the hotel in all aspects of day to day operations, ensuring proper training of front of house staff, compliance to brand standards and hotel standard operating procedures, and promoting high guest satisfaction and profitability. Particular emphasis of responsibility on overseeing Front Office and Breakfast operations.
Example of Duties
Manages and motivates all front of house personnel to include hiring, supervision, training, communicating objectives for the day, disciplining, scheduling and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction and property profitability.
Checks and controls room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. Compile and prepare financial reports as requested. Food and Beverage ordering, inventory control and profitability review.
Assist the Managing Director with the creation of financial reports as required by the Corporate Office. Meet all Corporate imposed deadlines as well as those imposed by the Managing Director.
