LIFE LINE SCREENING
Life Line Screening will be performing a day of preventive health screenings at New Miami Wesleyan Church on Monday, September 19, 2016. The tests look for signs of disease that can lead to stroke, heart attack or bone fracture. Life Line Screening scans for potential health problems related to: blocked arteries, which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms, which can lead to a ruptured aorta, the 13th leading cause of death in America; hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. The cost for a Wellness Package is $149.00. You must pre-register. Cost is as low as $70 for a single health screening. Packages start at $119.00 for the Vascular screening package. Annual Wellness Visit screenings will be offered as well, with NO out-of-pocket cost!
