Labyrinth Experience for Peace & Unity

A labyrinth is a special path you walk slowly to help you think deeply and find answers when you’re feeling lost or sad. As you follow the twists and turns, it helps you feel calm, understand your feelings, and become more in tune with yourself, so you can find peace and not depend on others for answers.

We live in a time of change and uncertainty. We sometimes distrust what's different. Sometimes, it feels like “us and them.” We CAN shift away from that way of thinking and facilitate peace.

The labyrinth can be a tool to bring people together. We bring all our differences onto a shared path. We walk our individual paths in life. Others walk their paths. Yet, we walk those paths together in community. In the labyrinth, we walk together in unity.

This is a one-time event. The intention and theme for this labyrinth experience is Peace and Unity on the evening before Election Day. Peace in our minds and hearts. Unity in our families, our communities, our country and our world.

No previous experience is required. Suggestions for how you might walk the labyrinth will be provided.

Handheld labyrinths will be available for individuals with mobility concerns. Families welcome. Hand-held labyrinths will be provided for those with mobility concerns.
