Hamilton Juneteenth Celebration

Join us in celebrating Juneteenth the Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration in Hamilton. Juneteenth was made an official Holiday in the City of Hamilton in July 2020- so we’re doing it BIG! This celebration is also a celebration of achievement for our Black Owned businesses and organizations in the community that has made a significant impact in our community. The Juneteenth celebration will kick off with our networking and expo, we will have several Key Partners on site, raffling off items, and give-a-ways! Some of the partners are KeyBank, Kettering Health Network, Modern Psychiatry & Wellness, Sojourner Services, YWCA, The Small Business Development Center, Ensemble Healthcare and many more. This is a time for you to come and engage with local businesses and organizations that can help or offer services you or your business can take advantage of. This is a Highly Anticipated portion of the event! There will be plenty of freebies during this time! We will have a special guest speaker, Dr. Quinton Moss speaking on the importance of Juneteenth and why we celebrate. We will have several food and retail vendors at this event, as well as our Annual City- Wide community kick ball tournament, which is always fun to watch. S & E BBQ and Soul Food, Mama Rock’s Sweet Treats, Maggie’s Girl’s Catering and more. Some of our Retail vendors include Yapheh Hair & Skin, Threads & Things Fashion and Accessories and plenty more. A special performance by The Hamilton High Dance Hip Hop Dance team, and 2 guest DJ’s spinning the best throwback, jazz, R&B and hip hop tunes throughout the event. The is a free event, that will be held outdoors on more than 2 acres of land. We will have free Hot Dogs for children from 12-2, bounce houses, a splash pad, arts and crafts as well as story time and much more. Parking at the venue is permitted and overflow parking is at Riverview Elementary- which connects to event venue.
