Developing Cultural-Competency

Given the increasing diversity in our society, it is imperative to become culturally-competent. Biases, values, beliefs, and assumptions affect personal and professional relationships. Develop an understanding on how your biases affect your own worldview through the process of self-awareness. By applying "de-biasing" techniques, you can unlearn or better manager implicit biases that may affect your decision-making process.
