David Bromberg Quintet
The David Bromberg Quintet performs in Hamilton at 7:30 pm Saturday, November 16, 2019, completing the fall season. Bromberg is widely regarded as the godfather of Americana music. His incredible journey spans more than five decades and includes adventures with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jerry Garcia, and other all-time greats. Bromberg’s mastery of several stringed instruments and multiple styles is legendary. In producing John Hartford’s hugely influential Aereo-Plain album, Bromberg co-invented a genre: Newgrass.
