Creeking in the Parks is back again! Join MetroParks and partner, Butler Soil and Water Conservation District, every Thursday this summer from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as we explore the creeks and waterways in the parks. This program will be held at a different park each week, so there are always new areas to explore! We will be looking for critters such as: macroinvertebrates, fossils, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. This week is a Pond Study! At Gilmore MetroPark, we will explore the ponds and wetlands, and discover what animals live in these habitats! The Gilmore Road entrance is located at: 7950 Gilmore Road, Hamilton OH 45015. Closed-toed shoes are required for all creeking events. FREE and open to all ages! Registration is requested so we know you are coming! Walk-ins are also welcome.
