According to the Scripps Gerontology Center, between 2005 and 2020 the total population of Butler County grew by 16%, with the number of residents increasing by 50,000 to 405,000. In that same time period, the population of older adults (60+) increased by 70% or 34,000.  Because of this “age wave,” families, communities, businesses, taxpayers and, of course, older adults themselves face tremendous challenges and opportunities.  COA will present on the state of aging in our region and provide information to help you and your business work with this changing demographic.
