Join us for Coffee & Conversations! This week will feature John Kirk, Graydon discussing the new COBRA  Subsidy Guidance.

 The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (“ARPA”) includes a 100% COBRA temporary subsidy for individuals who lost health care coverage due to an involuntary termination of employment or a reduction in hours. ARPA applies to health plans of all sizes and subsidizes 100% of COBRA premiums from April 1, 2021 through Sept. 30, 2021.  As part of the subsidy offer, ARPA requires employers to provides numerous notices and disclosures to current and former employees. 

We will discuss how the subsidy works, what employers need to do to be compliant, and address common scenarios under ARPA.
