Jong-un Chois's (West Lafayette, Indiana) internal perception of fragmented urban spaces is reflected in abstract paintings in a solo series called Selective Consciousness: Vision in the Present Space. In her solo installation titled Cautious Optimism, Cora Jane Glasser (New York City) utilizes construction materials and painted images to offer the inconvenience of navigating a construction site, while experiencing the excitement inherent in the building process.
