Animal Friends 5K Dog Jog

The 2nd Annual Dog Jog and 5K is a day full of fun for the whole family – including your four-legged friends! All net proceeds benefit the dogs and cats awaiting homes at the Animal Friends Humane Society as well as our crucial programs to support pets and the people who love them. The day’s activities consist of a competitive, chip timed 5K, a leisurely 1.5-mile Dog Jog, Flubs ice cream cones and pup cups free to participants, exciting raffle offerings, and our outdoor marketplace, which includes great vendors, and both Kids’ and Pets’ Fun Zones. Event Schedule and Location 7:45 to 8:45AM: Registration and packet pickup at Waterworks Park - Youth Football Fields parking lot - 5133 Groh Lane parking lot. 9:00AM: 5K Run/Walk begins 9:30AM: Dog Jog begins 8:30AM – 12:00PM: Race party REGISTRATION DETAILS: ? 5K Registration is $35. Race Day registration is $40. Participants will run or walk our official timed 5K route (3.1 miles) (no pets allowed in the 5K event) ? Dog Jog Registration is $25. Race day registration is $30. Participants can jog or walk our 1.5 mile route with your dog by your side or consider “renting” one of our shelter dogs to be your walking buddy! The Dog Jog will not be a timed event. ?
